Datuk Yahya bin Ya'acob Chairman
Datuk Yahya Ya’acob, a Malaysian, aged 66, was appointed as an Independent Investment Committee Member on 27 December 2006.
Datuk Yahya has served in various positions in government Departments and Ministries, including as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Information and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Works. He is currently a director of various companies, including listed companies such as IJM Corporation Berhad, LBI Capital Berhad, Damansara Realty Berhad, UDA Holdings Berhad and Emas Kiara Industries Berhad. Datuk Yahya was the Chairman of Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd.
Datuk Yahya holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Diploma in Public Administration both from the University of Malaya. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management, the Philippines.

Dato’ Mani Usilappan
Dato’ Mani Usilappan, a Malaysian, aged 60, was appointed as an Independent Investment Committee Member on 27 December 2006.
Dato’ Mani has vast experience in the field of property valuation. He was the Director General of the Valuation and Property Services Department in the Ministry of Finance. He also held various posts in various academic and professional institutions in Malaysia, such as the President of the Institution of Surveyors Malaysia. His current academic posts include being an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Built Environment at the University of Malaya and the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. In addition, he has written various books and articles on property valuation. He is also active in research and development in areas relating to the property sector.
Dato’ Mani currently sits on the Board of KTM Berhad, Damansara Realty Berhad, Faber Development Sdn Bhd, Sentul Raya Development Sdn Bhd, KL Sentral Sdn Bhd, Admiral Cove Sdn Bhd and KTMB Car Parks Sdn Bhd.
Dato’ Mani is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a Master’s Degree in Property Development from the Southbank University in London.

Tengku Dato’ Seri Hasmuddin bin Tengku Othman
Tengku Dato’ Seri Hasmuddin Tengku Othman, a Malaysian, aged 48, was appointed as an Independent Investment Committee Member on 27 December 2006.
He is a practicing lawyer and is currently the principal partner of Messrs Hisham, Sobri & Kadir. His areas of expertise include the various expects of Islamic banking and finance, corporate banking and project financing, corporate matters, corporate Muamalat Islamic banking and litigation as well as matters relating to Syariah.
Tengku Dato’ Seri Hasmuddin is a director of a number of companies, including Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad, Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, HSK Corporate Advisory & Consultancy Sdn Bhd, Institut Jantung Negara Sdn Bhd and Dallah Al Baraka (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd.
He is also an Advisor to Gabungan Perbankan Islam Malaysia (AIBIM), Advisor for Skim Projek Usahawan Dalam Bidang Peruncitan (PROSPER) and Task force member and an Advisor to Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority.
Tengku Dato’ Seri Hasmuddin holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Malaya and was admitted to the Bar in 1987.

Mahadzir Azizan
Mahadzir Azizan, a Malaysian, aged 61, was appointed as an Independent Investment Committee Member on 27 December 2006.
He has held key positions both in private and public sector. After graduation he joined the Judicial and Legal Service of the Malaysian Government as a Deputy Public Prosecutor and Federal Counsel and subsequently ventured into the private sector and served Malaysian International Shipping Corporation (MISC) as Assistant Company Secretary & Legal Adviser and later as Director of Corporate Affairs, Island & Peninsular Berhad, the property arm of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) for 23 years.
Mahadzir currently serves on the Boards of the following companies; ECM Libra Financial Group Berhad, ECM Libra Investment Bank Berhad, Avenue Invest Berhad, Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad and Tabung Haji Properties Sdn Bhd He was the Executive Director of Realmild (M) Sdn Bhd and a Director of Realmild Logistics Sdn Bhd.
Mahadzir is a Barrister-at-Law from Lincoln’s Inn, London.

S. Elias Abd. Rahman Alhabshi
S. Elias Abd. Rahman Alhabshi, a Malaysian, aged 67, was appointed as an Independent Investment Committee Member on 30 July 2008.
A seasoned banker, S. Elias has vast experience in banking industry and has served both local and international banking institutions and this includes Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad, ASEAN Finance Operation, Merrill Lynch & Co. and Hong Leong Group. Currently S. Elias serves on the Board of BIMB Holdings Berhad and a Member of the Investment Panel for Lembaga Tabung Haji. He was the Group Executive Director for Realmild (M) Sdn Bhd and was a director for Labuan Shipyard & Engineering Sdn Bhd.
S. Elias holds a Master of Management (with distinction) from the Asian Institute of Management, the Philippines.
